Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 1, 2026
The short version
- No account, no sign-in. We don't run servers and we don't receive your personal data.
- Your high score and settings stay on your device.
- The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, which collects device data such as your advertising ID.
- A one-time "No ads" purchase through Google Play turns ads off for good.
- You can change your ad privacy choices at any time in the game menu or in your device settings.
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how the Brush Ninja mobile game for Android (the "Game") handles information. The Game is published by Rogasoft, Poland ("we", "us"). For the processing described in this policy that we determine, we act as the data controller. Contact details are in section 16.
2. Data stored on your device
The Game does not require an account and does not send any of your information to us. We do not operate our own servers and do not use our own analytics. The Game stores only the following on your device:
- your best score,
- your sound setting (on/off),
- your chosen game language,
- whether you have purchased the ad-free version.
This information never leaves your device through us. You can delete it at any time by uninstalling the Game or clearing its storage in your Android settings.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The Game is free and is funded by ads served by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC and, for users in Europe, Google Ireland Limited ("Google"). When ads are active, the Google Mobile Ads SDK built into the Game may automatically collect and process:
- your device's advertising ID (Android Advertising ID) and app set ID,
- your IP address and the approximate (coarse) location derived from it,
- device and system information, such as device model, Android version, language and mobile carrier,
- information about ads shown to you and your interactions with them (for example, taps),
- diagnostic data, such as crash logs and performance information.
Google uses this information to deliver ads, measure their performance, limit how often you see the same ad, prevent fraud and abuse, and – where you allow it – show personalized ads based on your interests. Google acts as an independent controller of this data. To learn more, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
If you buy the ad-free version, the Game no longer loads ads and does not start the ads SDK.
4. Your ad privacy choices
- Consent form. Where required by law (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, and in some U.S. states), the Game shows a privacy message powered by Google's User Messaging Platform the first time you open it. You can accept, decline or customize how your data is used for ads.
- Privacy settings in the Game. Where such a message applies to you, a "Privacy settings" button appears in the Game menu so you can review or change your choices at any time.
- Device settings. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID under Settings → Privacy → Ads (the exact path may vary by device). After deletion, apps can no longer use it for personalized ads.
- Google controls. You can manage ad personalization across Google services at My Ad Center.
- Remove ads entirely. Buy the one-time "No ads" upgrade from the Game menu.
If you decline personalized ads, you may still see non-personalized or limited ads, which rely on contextual information rather than your profile.
5. "No ads" purchase (Google Play)
The optional one-time purchase that removes ads is processed entirely by Google Play. We never receive your card number, billing address or other payment details. The Game only receives the purchase status from Google Play – such as the product ID, purchase token and purchase state – so it can remove ads and let you restore the purchase on another device signed in to the same Google account. Payments are governed by the Google Payments Privacy Notice and the Google Privacy Policy.
6. App permissions
| Permission | Why it's needed |
|---|---|
| Internet access, network state | Loading ads and communicating with Google Play. |
| Advertising ID (AD_ID) | Added by the Google Mobile Ads SDK to serve and measure ads. |
| Google Play billing | Handling the optional "No ads" purchase. |
The Game does not request access to your precise location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or files.
7. Who receives data
We do not receive, collect or sell your personal information ourselves. Data is collected directly by the following providers when you use the relevant feature:
- Google AdMob – advertising (section 3),
- Google Play – app distribution and in-app purchases (section 5).
These providers may disclose information where required by law or to protect their rights and users.
8. International transfers
Google processes data on servers around the world, including in the United States. For users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, such transfers rely on adequacy decisions (including the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK and Swiss extensions) or on standard contractual clauses.
9. Data retention
Data stored by the Game on your device is kept until you uninstall the Game or clear its data. Data collected by Google is retained according to Google's own retention practices, described in the Google retention policy.
10. Security
Because we don't collect or store your personal data on our own systems, the main safeguards are those of your device and of Google's services. The Game communicates with Google services over encrypted connections.
11. Children
The Game is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or the higher minimum age that applies in some countries, for example 16 in parts of the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information through the Game, please contact us and we will help you address it.
12. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- know what personal information is processed about you and get a copy,
- correct or delete it,
- restrict or object to certain processing,
- receive your data in a portable format,
- opt out of targeted advertising, or of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as defined by some laws,
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing,
- not be discriminated against for exercising these rights,
- lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Since we hold no personal data about you on our own systems, the fastest way to control advertising data is through the tools in section 4. You can also contact us; we will respond within the time required by applicable law (for example, one month under the GDPR or 45 days under California law).
13. Additional information for the EEA, UK and Switzerland
Our legal bases under the GDPR / UK GDPR are:
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) – personalized ads and storing or accessing information on your device for that purpose,
- Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) – providing the "No ads" purchase,
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) – non-personalized ads, ad measurement, security and fraud prevention, which allow us to offer the Game for free.
The publisher is established in Poland. You may lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority (UODO) or with the authority in your country of residence or work.
14. Additional information for the United States
We do not sell personal information for money. However, under some U.S. state privacy laws (such as those of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and others), allowing an ad network like Google to collect identifiers and usage data for personalized ads may be considered "selling", "sharing" or "targeted advertising". In the last 12 months, the categories involved were identifiers (advertising ID, IP address), internet or electronic activity (ad interactions), and approximate geolocation, disclosed to Google for advertising purposes.
You can opt out by using the "Privacy settings" option in the Game where available, by deleting your advertising ID in Android settings, or by purchasing the "No ads" upgrade. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example if the Game's features or applicable laws change. The current version is always available on this page, and the effective date at the top shows when it was last updated. For significant changes, we will also mention the update in the Game's release notes.
